Guideline on the Fast Calculation of Steam and Water Properties with the Spline-Based Table Look-Up Method

Description
This guideline describes a spline-based table look-up method for fast calculation of water and steam properties, suitable for use in Computational Fluid Dynamics or other computer-intensive calculations.
The method is applied to both the IAPWS-95 formulation for thermodynamic properties for general and scientific use, and the IAPWS-IF97 formulation for industrial use.

This Guideline is the product of the Working Groups "Thermophysical Properties of Water and Steam" (TPWS) and "Industrial Requirements and Solutions" (IRS) of the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS).
