Most IAPWS documents have a suggested citation on the cover page. Please write the author as "International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam". Please include in the reference the IAPWS document identifier, which begins with "IAPWS" and then has letters and numbers related to the type of document, document sequence, and year produced, such as "“IAPWS R6-95(2018)". For example:
International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam, IAPWS R6-95(2018), Revised Release on the IAPWS Formulation 1995 for the Thermodynamic Properties of Ordinary Water Substance for General and Scientific Use (2018).
